Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

 Kaitlyn Ann Vincie was born in 1987 on December 10, 1987. She is an American journalist. She works for the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and also hosts their weekly news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's fascination with stock car racing began when she was given an pit lane pass following graduation from Christopher Newport University, she was a reporter at Langley Speedway. After SceneDaily published her self-made blog posts about NASCAR, she gained attention. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family moved to Warrenton at the time Vincie was in high school. Vincie is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother, Eleanor N. Logan was a fifth-grade school teacher, while her grandfather was on the faculty of Bridgewater College. She was interested in journalism from a young age. Vincie graduated from Fauquier High School, in 2006. Vincie was a track and field competitor and was also the school's coach for four years. She won the 800m event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie met Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored and gave Vincie plenty of tips. She completed her degree at Christopher Newport University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie was an intern for the athletics department of the university. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote her senior dissertation about auto racing gender disparity that focused on Danica Patrick, a woman race car driver. She was drawn to racing after she received an access pass to pit lane for the NASCAR All-Star Race. She mentions Krista Voda as well as Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
